On June 27, at 9:00 AM (3:00 PM Beijing time) in Milan, Italy, Weichai Group's Italian Ferretti Group was officially listed on Euronext Milan. Italy's Milan Euronext and China's Shandong Weifang Weichai Group headquarters held a ceremony by video link. Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Weichai Group and Chairman of Ferretti Group, Glass, CEO of Ferretti Group, Danila Santanci, Minister of Tourism of Italy, and Claudia Pazani, Chairman of Euronext Milano, delivered speeches respectively.
Grass, CEO of Ferretti Group, said: We are most grateful to Chairman Tan Xuguang, if there were no Weichai, Ferretti would not be here today. In 2012, all investors turned their noses up at Ferretti, whose business model was very different then. Mr. Tan Xuguang, from Shandong, China, saw an opportunity that the Italian investors did not see and immediately seized it. We are able to achieve this achievement today because of Chairman Tan Xuguang's visionary strategy.
